What do I want to be when I grow up?

Anyone out there know of a good website to help people figure out what career might be good for them?

We are planning to send at least one of the boys (Christian) to community college this year, and I have been thinking of going back to school myself. The problem is, neither of us knows what we want to do for the rest of our lives.

When I first went to college (Kent State) my major was architecture. Not gonna happen. I am at a total loss as to where to even begin to pick a "rest of my life" anything - let alone a career!

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics has an Occupational Outlook Handbook at http://www.bls.gov/oco/home.htm.

It's not a good site for answering, "what should I be," but it is a very, very good site for information about specific jobs. It provides a description of each job, training/advancement requirements, current employment options, projections for future employment, earnings data, etc. If you think it would be neat to be a butcher, a baker, or a candle-stick maker, it would give you a better idea of the realities of the job.
